Welcome to The British DJ & MC Academy, the fastest growing youth arts organisation in London. This fresh, innovative and passionate team established just in February 2008, set up by two well established and respected female artists in the dance scene. Supported by KAM & RWD Magazine and are now pioneering a new movement by channelling music through promoting young talent. Nurturing and developing existing talent to build confidence and to gain credibility.

DJ & MC courses are based at the Jamm Bar in Brixton for a full-on stage experience and training with latest club equipment and technology and production & song-writing courses are held at various high spec studio's around London for your convenience.

As an organisations and through partnerships we are able to offer Arts Award accreditations for under 25s, NVQs up-to Level 4 through Newham Music Academy & BTECs at Barnet College. We offer many opportunities to our students as our organisation to aimed to be youth lead, training and employing within so once you complete a course the road doesn't stop there and you can lead on to presenting your own radio show, performing at events and gaining further qualifications through Creative Apprentiships VVQ Level 2 & 3.

Majority of tutors have had over 10 years experience in the industry performing internationally including some of the most recognised clubs and popular places in London. All tutors are very versatile in what they do so they will teach you how to be successful, professional and imaginative because lets face it the industry is fierce and if you not got dedication stop reading now!Sharing their valuable skills and experiences and a courses specially formulated to skip the mistakes that we made and take yourself to the next level - a course we wish we went on ten years ago!

You will be provided you with course material to study in performing. If you have not got the equipment you need, we can advise you on the best kit to buy and places you can record your demos for affordable discounted rates. On the course most of the training is practical and you will perform in-front of an audience once you have mastered the skills to an efficient level.

We would ask all students to only enrol only if you are motivated and music is your real interest or passion as places are limited.
